The SHARECITY team are delighted to host a seminar by Dr. David Evans, a professorial Research Fellow in Human Geography at the University of Sheffield and Honorary Senior Fellow of the Sustainable Consumption Institute at the University of Manchester as part of TCD’s Distinguished International Lecturers in Geography Series.

The seminar, titled ‘Taking conventions elsewhere: Consumption, quality and nature in industrial worlds of food’ will explore the widespread expectation that food ought to be ‘fresh’ and address the economic, cultural and environmental significance of conventions in relation to the organization of agro-food systems.
